This project is a series of designs that incorporates Japanese language and typography. The designs were developed for class assignments and for the Japanese Studies Department on campus. A couple of the designs were made out of my own interest during my free time.

Through these graphics, I explored the visual harmony between Japanese characters (kanji, hiragana, katakana) and typographic principles. Reflecting the unique aesthetic of Japanese visual culture, some of the designs were used as department flyers and digital materials.
